Privacy Policy

• We only collect the details you choose to give us through a form, plus basic, privacy-respecting analytics about how the site is used.
• We use them to respond to your interest and to improve the site.
• We do not sell your personal information.
• You can ask us for a copy of your information, or to correct or delete it, at any time.

If you join the waitlist or register interest as a launch partner, we collect what you enter in the form. For shoppers this is typically your email address. For retailers it may include your name, business name, role, email address, phone number and website. You choose what to share, and you do not have to give us any of this to browse the site.

When you visit, our hosting provider and any analytics we use may record standard technical information such as your device type, browser, approximate location based on your IP address, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit. We use this in aggregate to understand how the site is used. Analytics may not be active on every part of the site during this concept stage.

The interactive demo stores your sample cart and demo orders only in your own browser (local storage). That information stays on your device and is not sent to Allway.

We aim to keep cookies to a minimum. Essential browser storage may be used to make the site and the demo work, for example remembering your sample cart. If we enable analytics, it may set cookies or use similar identifiers to measure usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though blocking some may affect how parts of the site work.

• To operate, maintain and improve this site and the demo.
• To understand interest and usage in aggregate.
• To meet our legal obligations.

We will only use your information for the purpose it was collected for, or a related purpose you would reasonably expect.

We do not sell your personal information. We use trusted third-party service providers to run this site, such as website hosting and infrastructure, a database provider, and, where enabled, analytics and email tools. These providers only handle your information to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information if we are required to by law.

Some of our service providers store or process data on servers outside New Zealand. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled with protections comparable to those required under New Zealand law.

We keep the details you give us for as long as we need them to respond to your interest and prepare for launch, and after that only while we have a legitimate reason to. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No online service can be completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you and to ask us to correct it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.

This site is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
