Comparison sources
Last updated: 7 September 2026
These are the public sources behind the competitor descriptions in our comparison tables. Fees, seller terms and integration options change over time, so we keep the wording conservative and verify against current public pages. Where no current public source states a figure, we say so rather than guess. All sources below were checked on 7 September 2026.
Trade Me
In-trade seller success fees
5.9%, 7.9%, 9.9% or 11.9% depending on category, charged on the item plus shipping price. The maximum fee is $499, and Top Sellers receive a 15% discount. Trade Me describes these as high-level bands with some category exceptions.
Casual seller fees (from 10 March 2026)
No success fee for casual Marketplace sellers. Ping costs 2.19% of the item plus shipping price, or 1.89% for Top Sellers. Optional listing extras may also apply, and a buyer Service Fee applies to casual purchases over $20.
Seller and retailer integration
Trade Me offers bulk catalogue tools, retail feeds, API integrations and third-party integrations for professional sellers, including My Products, Tradevine, CSV or XML retail feeds, and the Trade Me API.
Multi-seller basket
The Shopping Cart can buy multiple listings from different professional sellers in one checkout when the listings support Buy Now and Ping. This is a marketplace listing model rather than a canonical product comparison across independent retailers.
PriceSpy
Retailer cost per click
Retailers can list products and prices for free. Profiled retailers pay a fixed cost per click for the direct "Go to Store" feature, and the rate varies by product category. PriceSpy does not publicly publish the actual cost-per-click rates.
Retailer feed and integration setup
Basic product and price listing is free. Paid profiling adds retailer branding, enhanced tools and direct "Go to Store" links on a category-dependent cost-per-click basis. Product and price data is supplied by retailers or gathered automatically, with updates typically several times per day.
Mighty Ape Marketplace
Mighty Ape operates a Marketplace with third-party sellers, but its current public material does not publish the seller commission, listing or monthly fees, the onboarding and integration process, or the exact multi-seller checkout behaviour. We therefore keep those cells marked as not publicly disclosed rather than repeat older, unverified figures.
Seller commission or success fee
Confirms a third-party seller relationship but does not publish a commission or success fee rate. We do not publish the older 9% figure, as no current public Mighty Ape source substantiates it.
Listing, monthly fees, onboarding and basket behaviour
Confirms the Marketplace and that items can be added to the trolley, but does not publish seller fees, an onboarding or integration specification, or confirm that one checkout can span multiple Marketplace sellers.

A note on our own figures
Allway's commission range and launch-partner terms are our proposed launch model, not competitor data. They are set out in our launch commercial terms and may change before public launch. Everything shown in the demo marketplace is illustrative sample data. See our Terms of Use for more.
